On Thursday, October 18, the BACC hosted over 450 freshman from the county for 9th grade Career Day at the Dearth Center. Over 40 local businesses were in attendance to share about careers. A huge thank you to those who participated!




October is college application month. Students at the BACC have been busy applying to numerous colleges. A big thank you to counselors Becky Clancy and Josie Smith for their work supporting students and showcasing where they've applied to!



It was an awesome day of learning with insights and perspectives shared by the Parent Advisory Committee! This group of parents from Branch County shared tips, tricks, and their experiences with educators and administrators.

Exciting things are happening in our Electrical Technologies program! Our students are currently hard at work wiring Magnetic Motor Starters with timer relays. These hands-on skills are essential for a successful career in the electrical field. Great job!


AFNR students are preparing their own pens at the BACC to raise their own chickens, so it was great to get some tips and tricks from real technicians and growers who do this large scale! One thing is for sure- animal welfare is their #1 priority. Thank you Jason Shilling and Stephanie Shilling for having us!



A huge thank you to Keystone Cooperative Representatives, Andy AcMoody and Kala Pierucki, who made today’s real-world evaluation happen! Students from the Ag program scouted in a near by field then gave their reports to real agronomists. Thank you to Andy and Kala for their belief in our kids and taking the time to help them!




Branch Area Careers Center hosted “College Day” on Tuesday September 24, where students were exposed to a range of post high school opportunities. College Day featured 43 colleges, universities, trade schools, and military representatives, providing a diverse range of options for students to explore. The event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Branch Area Careers Center team and Kellogg Community College.

Great job to our Culinary program for preparing lunch for the college reps at the BACC College Day...Thank you! Also, a big thank you to the colleges that spent time with our students.

Special Education Teachers and their classroom teams spend time in their Professional Learning Community with the Teacher Consultants!


Family Day at Jennings Elementary School was a great experience for parents!
