Dominic Diamond is a senior at Coldwater High School (CHS) and he also attends the Electrical Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). His on-the-job training placement is at Aker Mechanical under the direction of Mike Morton. As a plumber’s assistant Dominic’s duties include picking and delivering parts from the warehouse to job sites, handling equipment and assisting with plumbing jobs.
At the BACC Dominick's instructor, Fran Williams, appreciates his good attendance and mature behavior. Fran occasionally hires him for side jobs at the business he owns, Wilcor Electric, because “I know he’s going to work.”
Mike Morton says “There's a lot to keep track of with this job and I'm impressed how quickly Dominic is learning the ropes. He is a hard worker and I'm very happy to have him on our team.”
Dominic is the son of Mark and Holly Diamond.
