Kiyah Richmond

Kiyah Richmond is a senior at Coldwater High School (CHS) and attends the Welding Engineering Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Her On-the-Job Training placement is at Case Welding and Fabrication under the direction of Michelle Case. In addition to welding, Kiyah’s duties include prepping materials, assisting the fabricators, and helping with the front-end office. Michelle says, “Kiaha is a very determined young lady and a great asset on our team. She has a great future ahead of her.”

At the BACC Kiyah has earned the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 General Industry Safety and Health Certification. Also at the BACC, she is a member of NTHS, was a Skills USA Regional qualifier, and was chosen as Student of the Marking Period. At CHS she is the class president, secretary of National Honor Society, and Bird Squad leader.

In her spare time Kiyah enjoys hunting, fishing, and being out in nature.

Kiyah is still deciding what she will do after graduation. She has been accepted into the Welding Engineering program at Ferris State University. Her parents are Adam and Jenny Richmond
