Brendan Parker is a senior at Coldwater High School and attends the Computer Networking and Technologies (CNT) program at the Branch Area Careers Center. His On-the-Job Training placement is at Lakeland Internet where he is a Network Operations Center intern. His duties include updating and configuring radios, auditing accounts and handling tech support calls.
At the BACC Brendan has earned his CompTIA A+ certification. After high school he intends to pursue a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. Brendan is an active member of Business Professionals of America and in his free time enjoys making video games and 3D modeling.
Brendan’s supervisor Josh Ashley, an alumnus of the BACC CNT program himself, says “In a short time Brendan has become a valued part of our team. He’s a fast learner and has great technical skills. Lakeland Internet is proud and happy to have him work here.”
