Branch ISD will update the District COVID-19 Dashboard daily, to provide information on the number of positive tests and the number of students and staff in quarantine as reported by the Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Agency (BHSJHD).
Due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) laws, we cannot disclose the identify or personal information of a staff member or student that has tested positive or is quarantined for COVID-19. Those who test positive for COVID-19 will not return to school until the date provided by the BHSJHD.
If we do have a student or staff member that test positive for COVID-19, we will work closely with public health officials. The BHSJHD will investigate and identify close contacts. Only those identified as close contacts by BHSJHD will be ordered to quarantine, and will not return to school until the date provided by BHSJHD.
