Nayeli DeLaPaz is a senior attending Bronson Jr/Sr High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Nayeli is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Century Bank and Trust as a teller. Her supervisor is Brittany Roddy. Her job duties include maintaining and balancing a cash drawer throughout the day, assisting customers with banking needs, answering business calls, scanning all transactions, completing address changes, checking night drop, and completing holds.
Nayeli feels the best part of her OJT training is the environment of the bank, the knowledge she gains, and feeling the responsibility of being an adult. Nayeli feels her OJT placement has given her excellent experience handling money she enjoys knowing her company and customers trust her. She is a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA) at the BACC. In her BPA competitions,
Nayeli competed at the State Leadership Conference last year. This year, she placed 1st in Banking and Finance and 1st in Personal Finance at local competition. Her plan after graduation is to pursue a degree in Business and continue her employment at Century Bank. In her spare time, Nayeli enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and cleaning. Nayeli is the daughter of Andres DeLaPaz and Maricela DeLaPaz.
