Lidiane Mowry is a senior at Factoryville High School and is enrolled in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Lidiane has an On-the-Job Training position with Yoder’s Country Market under the direction of Peter Heflin. She works as a Deli Counter Assistant preparing customer orders by assembling sandwiches, salads, and other items. She is responsible for stocking, sanitation, slicing, and general duties. OJT has taught her to multi-task, work at a fast pace, learn how to operate deli equipment and communicate well with others. Her favorite part of OJT is interacting with the customers and co-workers.
Lidiane is a previous member of Skills USA and ProStart. Last year, her ProStart Nutrition team won second place in the competition. At Factoryville High School, Lidiane is a plays volleyball. Outside of school, Lidiane enjoys cooking, reading and playing volleyball. After graduation, she plans to continue work at Yoder’s and is considering college. Lidiane is the daughter of David and Rebekah Mowry.
