Juliana Reynolds is a senior attending Quincy High School and is enrolled in the Health Science Practicum program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Juliana is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her supervisor is Lorraine Akers. Her job duties include providing all care for geriatric residents and assisting them with activities of daily living.
Juliana feels her OJT placement has helped her become a stronger, smarter, and overall better health care worker. Juliana feels the best part of her OJT training is taking the time to sit down and talk to her residents. She is a member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals and the National Technical Honor Society at the BACC. Juliana has served as both the HOSA Historian and HOSA Vice-President during her two-year membership. This year she competed and won second place at HOSA Locals and Regionals. At Quincy High School, Juliana participates in student council, Youth in Government, and ASTRA.
Her plan after graduation is to attend Jackson College and become a Certified Nursing Midwife (CNM). In her spare time, Juliana enjoys spending time with her best friend and her family. Juliana is the daughter of Kim Burd.
