Coldwater community rallies around Branch Area Careers future healthcare heroes!

Students preparing food

This year has been a trying time for everyone, especially k-12 students and healthcare employees. The Branch Area Careers Center (BACC) has been blessed with generous donations from local employers, ultimately supporting future healthcare heroes in training! BACC would like to publicly thank the local partners who have made the 2020.2021 academic year a success for local high school juniors and seniors attending the BACC Health Science Programs.

Thank you Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility for opening your doors once again to Certified Nursing Assistants students. By allowing our students to partner with your staff in caring for your residents, you have opened the hearts of many future healthcare employees! Thank you Maple Lawn, also for the donation of a bed to support the students in their patient care learning experiences at the BACC.

Thank you Gander Mountain and Bigby Coffee, both of Coldwater, for your generous donations towards a fundraiser which directs all proceeds back to local healthcare needs in our community!

Thank you Quincy native Mrs. Jackie Russell, MSN, RN for your tireless efforts in educating, training and equipping a whole team of twenty-three students who are now entering the workforce as Certified Nursing Assistants while still in high school. Your years of service to both patients and students in the Coldwater and surrounding areas is highly commendable.
