Noah Fee is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Welding Engineering Technology program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is as a line welder with LaGrange Products under the supervision of Barrett Sanborn. Noah’s job duties include measuring, sealing and welding parts for pressure vessels. He says his OJT job has really helped him by teaching him how to weld pipe and round metal. This skill is a great foundation for his future career as a boilermaker. Noah’s favorite part of the job includes gaining valuable work experience in a welding shop. Noah plans to join Local 85 Boilermaker union and eventually become a welding inspector.
At Quincy High School, Noah is a member of the Band and the Cross Country team. At the Branch Area Careers Center, he is a member of Skills USA where he competed in arc welding. Noah won 1st place in the overall welding category at local competition. He also won 2nd place in arc welding. He will be competing at the Regional level in March. In his spare time, Noah enjoys playing pool and poker and setting up his own welder. Noah is the son of Dave Fee and Kathy Cole.
