Dwayne Hoyt-Cole

Dwayne Hoyt-Cole is a Coldwater High School Senior and a student in the Computer Networking Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center.  Dwayne is an IT Helpdesk Assistant for the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities. He is supervised by Pat Poole, Josh Smith, and Craig Figueroa.

Dwayne’s duties include completing new Helpdesk tickets in a timely manner, taking care of IT problems that may occur and assisting with monitoring inventory.  Dwayne believes his OJT training has helped him get real work and problem-solving experience, and complimentary communication skills. He feels this experience has helped him become more out-going. Dwayne’s favorite part about his job is learning every day from his knowledgeable co-workers and being able to fix problems that arise.  After high school graduation, his plans are to attend college or enter the workforce.

Dwayne is a member of the BACC’s Business Professionals of America club.  He recently won awards in numerous events at BPA local’s competition. He is most proud of his first place win in PC Servicing and Troubleshooting.  In his spare time, Dwayne enjoys woodworking, watching movies and playing video games. Dwayne’s parents are Tonia Cole and Micheal Cole.
