Real World Business Opportunities

Become an entrepreneur. All students develop an idea, write a business plan, produce a product, and have the potential to make money while competing in the Generation E Showcase at Kellogg Arena, in Battle Creek, MI

Be a part of paid On-The-Job Training or unpaid Work Experience to gain valuable work experience, explore career options, and networking opportunities in a variety of real business and office settings.

We have two opportunities right in our classroom!

At The Corner Store, students learn about running and operating a business from start to finish.
Students learn how to:

    • take inventory
    • place orders
    • work with various vendors
    • stock shelves
    • run Point-of-Sale cash registers
    • balance registers daily
    • cashier for all classes during store hours at the BACC

Images, Etc. is BMMT’s student-run T-shirt screen printing, embroidery, and custom vinyl business.
Students learn how to:

    • take orders
    • create designs for t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, backpacks, and much more!
    • create, coat, and use t-shirt screens for various BACC programs and local businesses
    • control inventory
    • learn and follow safety procedures
    • fill and package all orders
    • proper use of embroidery machine and equipment
    • create custom designs for all apparel using vinyl
