Hands-On Business Training

This upbeat and fast-paced program is for students interested in exploring and developing a business-related career.   Students practice business skills while learning fundamentals of marketing, business planning and management.

Through project-based learning, this class focuses on current topics in business and marketing. In this hands-on course, students create professional business plans, effective social media marketing campaigns, and meet many current successful business professionals.

Extensive use of video and photography equipment and software is common. Successful students will need to follow oral and written directions, work well in groups, meet deadlines, and be willing to develop their creativity and professional presentation skills.

Successful students will build their resume with industry certifications and get real-world business experience through paid On-the-job Training.  Students also get the opportunity to take Accounting I (4 college credit hours) through dual enrollment with Kellogg Community College.  All Accounting coursework happens during the regular BACC program time.

Spend some time on the BACC Business Facebook page (“https://www.facebook.com/bacc.bmmt”) to get a feel for the unique and exciting things happening in BACC Business.
