Alex Pickell

Alex Pickell is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Business Management, Marketing & Technology program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is the Images, Etc. Manager at the Branch Area Careers Center under the supervision of Brittany Wisman.  As Manager, Alex is responsible for screen-printing, using sublimation, ink press, vinyl, and embroidering apparel. Alex does all the pre and post-production work to make the products. He says his OJT job has really helped him learn how to handle more responsibility and taught him self-reliance.  His favorite part of his job is getting to be very hands-on in his work while learning the behind the scenes part of the business.

After high school, Alex will report to the Army National Guard. After his military training is complete, he hopes to attend Grace College.  At BACC, he is the Business Professionals of America chapter President. He also served as the Gobblepalooza Stage Manager. His junior year, he was the Chapter Treasurer. This year, Alex competed in Small Business Management Team and Fundamentals of Accounting at the Regional Leadership Conference. At Quincy High School, Alex is involved in soccer, drama, and track. In his spare time, Alex enjoys working out, playing soccer, and playing video games with friends.  Alex is the son of Steve and Jessie Pickell.
