Thanksgiving… a time for giving to others

Students at the Waldron center are smiling in the matching uniforms as serve dinner to others.

The dinner was a HUGE success thanks to the students’ hard work.

The Waldron Center has a long-standing tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving. However, this year was extra special as the students in the Pathway program coordinated, prepared, and served the entire Thanksgiving meal under the supervision of Julie Johnson, program instructor.

Invited guests included the superintendent, board members, and others who contribute to the school’s success.

Nate Johnson, BISD Planner/Monitor, expressed his gratitude to the staff and students for their hard work and making Waldron a special place.

Scarlett Counterman enjoys the day.

Friends Ethan Hamilton & Levi Cutler share a smile.
