OJT Spotlight Jasmine Renshaw

Jasmine Renshaw is a senior attending Coldwater High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center.

Jasmine is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust as a Document Management Retention Specialist. Her supervisor is Teresa Scott. Her job duties include imaging loan files and other various bank documents, verifying and shredding completed documents, filing documents, and keeping sensitive bank information secure.

Jasmine feels her OJT placement has helped her see what it is like to work in a professional environment and taught her how to communicate well with people. Jasmine feels the best part of her OJT training is working with great co-workers and working at a professional job while attending high school.

Jasmine is President of Business Professionals of America at the BACC. She has won numerous awards as well as the Executive, Diplomat, Statesman & Ambassador Torch awards. Jasmine will be competing at the BPA State Leadership Conference in March. Her plan after graduation is to pursue a degree in General Management and Communications at Central Michigan University. Eventually, she is planning a career in Hotel Management.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys reading, listening to music, hanging out with her brothers and traveling. Jasmine is the daughter of Joe and Sharla Renshaw.
