Jacob Knaack is a senior attending Coldwater High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Jacob is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Century Bank and Trust as a teller. He is under the supervision of Brittany Roddy.
His job duties include customer service, completing customer transactions, and balancing. Jacob feels that working while attending high school has given him a competitive edge in the career field. His OJT Training has jump started his training in business, especially working with money. Jacob feels the best part of his OJT placement is working with great people, meeting new people and experiencing all of this while in high school.
At the Branch Area Careers Center, Jacob is a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA). This year he serves as an officer and he will participate in various contests. He also created a Generation E business called Royal Socks. Jacob serves as the student representative on the BACC OJT Advisory Committee.
At Coldwater High School, Jacob is a member of the Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams. Jacob’s hobbies include playing sports, hanging out with friends, and working with his custom printed crew sock business. Jacob is enrolled in the Early Middle College program at Kellogg Community College. After earning his KCC degree, he will transfer to Western Michigan University to study business and eventually plans to become an accountant. He is the son of Jim and Jill Knaack.
