Luke Swift is a senior at Quincy High School and is the son of Paul and Renee Swift.
This is Luke’s second year in the Computer and Networking Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center where he has achieved his A+ certification and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. He is also a member of Business Professionals of America and has earned numerous awards and competed for the second year in a row at the State level.
His internship placement is with Quincy Community Schools under the supervision of Andy Craig. His responsibilities include management of desktop computers, Chromebooks, and Kindle tablets as well as desktop support, printer installation and troubleshooting.
Luke is a member of the Robotics Club at Quincy High School. His future plans include attending Kellogg Community College and then transferring to Davenport University to major in Information Technology. He believes his OJT experience has increased his skills and his favorite part of OJT is being able to do a job he really likes and the professional work environment.
In his spare time, Luke enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and 4-H.
